Hurricanes are an organization of birds that reside in the city of Zambezia. They are led by Ajax.
Background[]
The Hurricanes are noteworthy of being expert in flying and races. Kai joined in with the Hurricanes until it is revealed that Kai wants to go after rescuing Tini and the weavers. Kai was eventually banished from being a Hurricane for doing so.
Prior to the climax, the Hurricanes are captured by the marabou storks and decide to free themselves during the final battle. When Kai and Tendai return back to Zambezia, Ajax shows remorse to Kai as a misunderstanding, making him a Hurricane again.
