Ajax (Gypaetus barbatus) is a major character in the animated film Adventures In Zambezia.
Background[]
Ajax lives in the city of Zambezia. He is the strict but loyal general of the Hurricanes which do one of the expert flying techniques. Ajax eventually banishes Kai for trying to rescue the weavers from the Marabou storks at night, both unsupervised and without prior information as it broke code of conduct. However, he is later captured by the storks. He and the other Hurricanes go after Budzo and his army of lizards. He reforms after Kai and his father began saving Zambezia from the lizards.
